A nice surprise..

I actually purchased this flute for a couple of reasons. A> To try out the Native Indigenous tuning and B> Because I was unsure about A, for the price point. The fact that it’s durable and weather proof was really a bonus. I’m really pleasantly surprised at how nice this little flute sounds and how well it plays! I also find that the alternate scale and fingering has helped to bring variety to my playing on my other flutes so all a win-win. I also like the movement to bring back into focus this original tuning and will most likely be finding a wooden flute using this tuning. It does have a bit more of a ‘recorder’ like sound IMHO, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing..just an observation and that’s a little bit of a trade off for the durability and weather proof features. All in all, I would recommend this maker..well done and proud to have it as part of my collection.

Great flute. Shipped the next day. Easy to play, sounds great. Easy to carry around. I don’t worry about my expensive flute get damaged anymore. I love it so much I carry it with me everyday. So far, I’ve loved every flute I have bought from this website.
